What areas can be treated ?
Anywhere on the face, neck, chest or hands. Even under eye wrinkles can be treated. "Crow's Feet" and Lip areas such as "Lipstick Lines" respond well. Acne scars are also diminished in this way. You will also experience skin tightening and complexion improvement.

How does the treatment work?
This is a non-invasive way to treat wrinkles and improve skin texture. A beam is delivered which targets and heats the collagen . The energy is absorbed by the dermal layer of skin tissue where your body naturally repairs and begins to rebuild and replenish its own natural collagen. Results are achieved from the inside out! Skin will begin to look younger and softer as collagen is replenished beneath the surface. Results begin 30 days post treatment. Dramatic improvement around 90 days. Collagen continues building for up to a year. Wrinkles and fine lines will be reduced as new collagen grows and "plumps up" thereby "filling in" the fine lines in the skin.

What improvement will I see after the treatment?
Many describe how wrinkles around the eyes and mouth have dramatically decreased. Improvement is achieved with a single treatment or series of treatments resulting in collagen enhancement. Within 2 weeks your complexion will be renewed. Collagen improvement for wrinkles requires approximately 90 days.

Who is a candidate for Laser Skin Re Surfacing?
For wrinkles, even as early as age 30 you can start maintaining and/or improving the appearance of your skin, but typically the 40+ age group will benefit the most from this procedure.

How long does a treatment take?
A typical treatment takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the areas being treated. We customize each session for each individual.  Number of treatments can vary depending on areas to be treated. Patients typically experience minor discomfort and have a slight sunburn effect in the treated area for up to 4 hours following a session.

Are there any side effects?
As with any type of cosmetic procedure there is alway some risk, although all precautions are taken to insure maximum results with low risks involved.   Varying degrees of redness and swelling will occur. This usually subsides in a few hours to one week depending on procedure. Immediately post treatment there is a sunburned feeling for approximately 4 hours.
