How Does the Laser Micro Peel Work
During your Laser Micro Peel, a CO2 laser is scanned over a treatment area to accurately ablate (vaporize) a very thin layer of skin, removing the old, sun-damaged skin. The healing process is then activated to restore your skin and produce new, healthy skin cells.
Although most patients treat the face and neck, hands and chest are also excellent areas for the laser peel treatment.
You will wear protective eye-wear and should find the treatment comfortable.
It will typically last between 30 minutes and 60 minutes. Within days, you’ll see your new glowing appearance.

How should I care for my face after treatment?
A post-treatment skincare regiment is required to maintain blemish free skin. Appropriate application of sunblock is a requirement to maintain your new complexion. Exposure to sun can trigger the melanin again and bring back discolored skin.
Is the laser peel treatment painful?
The treatment is not very painful. A slight stinging feeling during the treatment is well tolerated.
How many laser treatments are required?
Most often a single laser peel provides approximately 5 microdermabrasion treatments in one session. For fair to medium sun-damage one treatment offers excellent lightening.
What precautions should I take?
Avoid sun exposure for 4 to 6 weeks before and after any laser treatment. You should not have any chemical peels or microdermabrasion treatments for one month prior to each treatment.
How will my face look after treatment?
You will need approximately 3 days for the peel to slough off and for your new skin to be revealed.
