Radio-Frequency Microneedling

Say hello to game-changing results to reverse the hands of time. By accurately and safely delivering radiofrequency energy into the skin through microneedle channels, your skin naturally rebuilds collagen and your skin becomes tighter and plumper from within. 2 Great Devices are ScarletRF and Morpheus8.

Why You'll Love It

  • Minimal to no downtime
  • Maximum energy delivered in all layers of skin.
  • Diminish fines lines, deeper wrinkles & scarring
  • Stimulates high collagen production
  • Pigmentation & sun damage decreases

How The treatment Works

What is RF Microneedling? We get asked this alot. It is a cluster on pins that push into your skin and release energy at a deeper layer of your skin. Microneedling with the added energy of radio-frequency is the most current skin tightening procedure at this time. Unlike regular microneedling pens, our devices with RF microneedling combines the thin needle-like pins found in standard microneedling devices with radio-frequency energy. This maximizes collagen production by creating channels that release radio frequency at the same time. Standard microneedling pens have no radio-frequency energy being delivered.

To rebuild your collagen layers best, the RF Microneedling is delivered into the deep skin layer of fibrous and elastic tissues of the dermis at the depth we deem necessary. A cluster of thin Botox like pins create these channels.

These microneedles create perforations (channels) that help heal the newly forming collagen with thermolysis to plump and tighten skin.

The number of sessions of radio-frequency vary from one individual to another as we take into consideration factors such as:

  • Condition of skin prior to treatment
  • Depth of wrinkles and/or acne scars
  • How well your skin responds treatment

Learn about the Scarlet RF Microneedling device

We love the Scarlet! Unlike other devices, the penetration into the skin is very smooth. This causes less damage to the skin which in turn shortens healing time. Scarlet RF Microneedling provides deep collagen stimulation by placing energy into the bottom layers of the skin in an oval shaped release. This is unique to Scarlet as the energy is delivered through several skin layers vs just at a horizontal deep layer.

What makes Scarlet RF the best?

The ScarletRF laser has a unique method of delivering the RF energy into the skin. It’s called the “NA Effect.”

Unlike other competitive devices, the “NA Effect” causes the energy to be released in a tear drop format which maximizes the delivery of the RF energy over a several layers of your skin.

Other RF Microneedling devices deliver energy in a round or oval shape format which is more shallow. With Scarlet, deep and powerful energy works to stimulate dormant collagen in the dermal layer which triggers new collagen growth thereby plumping, firming and tightening skin.

It can take 3 months to see the full effect of the treatments and results can last up to 18 months.

Treatment Plan

RF Microneedling requires numbing cream prior to treatment and has minor discomfort. Some slight puffiness and redness may exist for up to 24 hours, but many people still go out to dinner that night.

Generally, it can take 3 sessions, once a month with minimal (24 hr) to no downtime. For patients that have never had collagen stimulation and have greater laxity, additional treatments are recommended to achieve an optimal outcome.
