How The treatment Works
Botox works by relaxing the facial muscles that create wrinkles. It smooths the lines on your forehead and around your eyes that make you look older than you feel, giving you a refreshed, more youthful look that lasts 3–4 months.
If you’re starting to notice lines that make you look older than you feel, Botox is one of the simplest ways to improve your appearance without changing the way you naturally express yourself.
All injections are performed by our Board-Certified Physician and Lead Injector, Dr. Cela Doppelt. With decades of medical and anatomical experience, Dr. Doppelt specializes in precise, natural-looking results that refresh your appearance without looking “frozen.”
Located on the 2nd Floor of 105 Central St in Stoneham, Cosmetic Laser Solutions MedSpa provides expert-led treatments for patients in Stoneham, Reading, Wakefield, Winchester, Lynnfield, Andover, Medford, Woburn, Melrose, and the Boston North Shore who want expert‑level wrinkle reduction.
What Botox Treats
Botox is ideal for smoothing expression lines caused by repeated muscle movement. Common treatment areas include:
- Crows Feet
- Smooth your forehead (11 lines)
- Slim your jawline
- Lift your brows

How does Botox® Work?
Botox is injected with a very fine needle into the facial muscles that create wrinkles. It works by blocking the signal that tells the muscle to contract—so when you make an expression, the lines don’t fold as deeply.
Over the next 3–7 days, the treated muscles relax, and your wrinkles begin to smooth and soften. Results depend on how many units are used and the level of correction you want.
What to Expect – Botox Timeline
- Day 1: Quick 10–15 minute treatment with minimal discomfort.
- Day 2–3: Early softening of lines begins.
- Day 7: Full results become visible.
- 3–4 months: Results gradually fade; maintenance recommended.
Are you ready to look younger and be wrinkle-free?
Does Botox hurt?
We try to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you. We use very thin 32-gauge needles to inject the appropriate amount of the Botox neurotoxin into the specific areas of your facial anatomy.
It’s no more than a small pinch. Your treatment will be comfortable and take as little as 15 minutes.
New patients: Ask about our $99 ‘Tighten & Brighten’ Peel intro special during your initial consultation!
How much does Botox cost?
Pricing usually ranges from $250–$700 per session, depending on the amount of product needed.

Related Services for a More Complete Facial Rejuvenation
Botox smooths expression lines, but true facial rejuvenation often requires treating the skin itself — tone, texture, laxity, and structural support. If you’re looking to brighten, tighten, or lift additional areas, we offer advanced options that pair beautifully with your Botox results.
Eye Rejuvenation Options
Botox softens crow’s feet, but it cannot treat under‑eye wrinkles or eye bags. We offer specialized treatments designed additonal eye area concerns. Explore: Under-Eye Rejuvenation.
Skin Tightening & Facial Contouring
If you’d like to lift, tighten, or sharpen specific facial features such as the jawline, jowls, or neck, our nonsurgical tightening and contouring treatments can help restore youthful structure. Explore: Agnes RF Facial Contouring
For smoothing of deeper more advanced wrinkles, consider Fractional CO2 which can be performed several weeks before or after Botox for enhanced results. Explore: Fractional CO2
Beyond the Botox Fix: Youthenizing Your Skin
Botox stops the movement that causes wrinkles — but it doesn’t improve skin quality.
To achieve a truly youthful, radiant look, Clinical Lead Director Norma Cataldo focuses on structural rejuvenation: rebuilding collagen, restoring elasticity, and bringing back your natural glow.
Treatments to consider:
- The Non-Surgical Forehead Lift (Agnes RF): Botox can’t fix heavy, hooded eyes. Norma uses precision RF tightening to physically lift the brow and forehead and tighten the eye area for a wide-awake, refreshed look.
- Regenerative Exosome Facials: Think of this as the “Youth Signal.” Exosomes tell your cells to behave like they are decades younger, dramatically improving skin texture.
- Microneedling with Advanced Serums: Rebuilds the deeper structural “spring” in your skin while Botox smooths the surface.
- Medical-Grade Skincare: Botox lasts 4 months, but your skin needs daily support. Norma curates professional‑strength regimens to keep your results bright, firm, and youthful between visits.

Why Cosmetic Laser Solutions Is Different
Most medspas offer basic Botox injections. We don’t. At Cosmetic Laser Solutions, all injectables are performed by our Board‑Certified Physician and Lead Injector, Dr. Cela Doppelt, whose anatomical precision creates natural, expressive results without the frozen look.
For patients who want more than wrinkle softening alone, Laser Clinical Director Norma Cataldo integrates Botox with advanced biostimulation, under‑eye rejuvenation, and structural tightening protocols. This combination approach helps your skin rebuild collagen, tighten, and brighten—creating results that look more lifted, more refreshed, and more youthful than injections alone.
Our multi‑device, multi‑layer strategy is what sets us apart: Botox for expression lines, biostimulation for under‑eye texture, RF tightening for brow elevation, and regenerative serums for long‑term skin quality. This is why patients choose us for natural‑looking rejuvenation that enhances your features without changing who you are.
Botox® Frequently Asked Questions
Is Botox good for under-eye wrinkles?
We avoid using Botox directly under the eye area. It works great for crows’ feet, though!
We offer various options for under-eye wrinkles.
At what age should I start Botox?
Many patients begin in their late 20s as a preventative treatment for wrinkles. Starting early reduces muscle contractions from getting stronger and deeper as you age.
Why can’t you lie down after Botox?
You should not lie down for 4 hours. The Botox needs to settle in the injection site. It prevents product migration.
What areas can be treated with Botox?
Eyes, forehead creases, eyebrow lines/lifts, corners of the mouth. Other Laser alternatives are also available.
Does Botox have side effects?
The most common side effect is temporary bruising at one or more of the injection sites. This can be covered with makeup.
On occasion, the Botox® can migrate (leak) into nearby muscles, causing temporary weakness. There are rare cases of drooping of an eyelid or asymmetry of facial expression.
The chance of experiencing a side effect depends on which muscles are injected. Any side effect is temporary, as the effects of Botox® are completely reversible.
Can Botox lift eyebrows?
Yes. A Botox brow lift can elevate the brow. We also offer an advanced RF brow lift. Explore: advanced brow lift.
What is Botox Pre-juvenation?
Pre-juvenation is starting a skincare regimen in your mid-to-late 20s.
Many patients begin injections at a relatively early age to prevent deeper wrinkles from forming.
